USATF Oregon held another successful Junior Olympic Track & Field Championship on June 25-28. The hammer competition was held on June 13. The championship results have been posted on Athletic.net.
The Association's annual track & field championship welcomed almost 800 competitors ranging in age from 5 to 18. The top 8 individuals, relay teams, and combined events competitors in each event of each age division advanced to the USATF Region 13 Championships. The top 5 athletes at the Region 13 Championships will qualify for the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships while the top 2 athletes will qualify from the combined events.
