USATF Oregon Junior Olympic XC Results
The USATF Oregon Association hosted its annual
Junior Olympic Cross Country Championship meet
at the Ash Creek Preserve on the campus of Western Oregon University, Monmouth, OR, on November 9. There were 228 youth athletes ages 7 to 14 years old representing 12 Oregon youth clubs who participated in the meet. There were also several athletes who competed unattached.
Girls and boys in four different age divisions competed over 2,000, 3,000, and 4,000 meter courses.

The top 35 individuals and top 5 teams in each age group will advance to the Region 13 Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships. Age groups 15-16 and 17-18 (individuals and teams) will be advanced to the Region 13 meet if they registered for the Oregon Association meet. These ages groups were not contested in the USATF Oregon JO meet.
The Region 13 Championships
will be held on Saturday, November 23 at the Chambers Creek Regional Park, University Place, WA.
