There will be four races scheduled for the girls and four races for the boys. Distances range from 2,000 meters to 4,000 meters. First races start at 9:00 a.m. There will be standard USATF youth two-year age groups, ranging from seven to 14 years old.
The top 35 individuals and top 5 teams in each age group will advance to the Region 13 Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships.
Six year old youth can compete as an exhibition athlete. They can advance to the Region 13 Junior Olympic Cross Country Championship meet, but cannot advance to the National USATF Junior Olympic Cross Country Championship meet. Age groups 15-16 and 17-18 (Individuals/Teams) will be advanced to the USATF Region 13 meet after registering for the Oregon Association meet. These ages groups will not be contested in the USATF Oregon Cross Country meet on November 9.
