USATF Oregon Election Results
USATF Oregon elected two Association officers and two Association Committee Chairs At its Annual Meeting held in September.
Lynn Brown
was elected President. Lynn had served as the Association Secretary for eight years. She replaces Jay Miles who stepped down due to his relocation to another state.
Debi Hanson
was re-elected 2nd Vice President. Hanson is chair of the Association Budget and Audit Committee and handles the organization’s bookkeeping. Debi also oversees the USATF Oregon event sanctions process.
Billy Fields
was re-elected Chair of the Youth Committee. Fields will oversee one of the busiest Association committees. The youth program is a key focus of the organization through its development programs and grass roots outreach efforts to prepare the next generation of track and field athletes to become involved in the sport now and in the future.
Robert “Gibby” Reynolds
was elected Chair of the Officials Committee. Reynolds will oversee the activities of the committee which include recruiting, training, mentoring, and certifying USATF track and field officials in Oregon. Reynolds replaces Jerry Westfall as Chair after Westfall stepped down after 20 years in the position.
